Nexus and Pixel owners it is time to flash the latest in android nougat either via factory image or OTA. We have been waiting and hopefully we see a true fix for the issues we have been having.

So if you have a Nexus 6P, 5X, Player, 9 or Pixel, XL, or ryu, then you can update today.

Not sure what the deal was but I could not flash the ota so had to flash the system image.

Anyone else had this issue?

Downloading the update as I type this via OTA. Will mess around with it after dinner.

So we can't flash the image or OTA? I read people who flashed it successfully had no issues. I wonder what the hold up is.

I had an issue flashing the OTA but I was running the latest developer build so it could have been why that was an issue for me. So I had to flash the factory image. You may not have the same issue as I.

I'm also running the latest beta. So it won't work for me either. Unless I go back to an official build. This is very contrary to the Nexus program...

The DP2 hasn't been running bad for me. I just wish battery life could be where I wish it was. My wife's Pixel is running circles around my 6P.

No, I don't own a Mac. The only Apple product I own is an iPad A2.
