Colors for Notification LED

Right now my GMAIL and Text messages both generate a Green LED. Is there anyway to change either one of them without installing a third-party app?

Nope. You can get LightFlow, or wait until Cyanogenmod comes to Bionic. I know K-9 mail allows you to switch it for email at least.

Use handcent for messaging. There are so many great options in it, and you can change the led to any color you want.

+1 for Lightflow, and especially for the ability to set schedules for notifications. I can turn off everything at 10:30pm and back on at 5am so I'm not hearing it pop all night long! That was the reason I got it in the first place, the notification changes were just a bonus for me!
