Cna evolved Wi-Fi tether

I'm wondering if there it's a solution to get Wi-Fi tether to work on any of the jelly bean roms. Specifically I'm running cna evolved, though I tried cm10 and both to failed with both the built-in and'Wi-Fi tether root" apps.

I like FoxFi, it doesn't require root (even though my phone is) and still tethers flawlessly over WiFi.

Granted I'm on ICS, but you can get the free version of FoxFi to test it out first, and pay for the full version to unlock unlimited data transfer. The free version turns off after so many megabytes have been transferred (uploaded or downloaded).
