Cm7 to liquid

Right now I am on cm7. I want to install liquid but is it possible since it is a 2nd init Tom. Or will I have to sbf?

You'll be fine, no sbf necessary.

Liquid is like CM7 in that it boots off the Froyo kernel.
So in order to flash it, you either need to be on a Froyo ROM, or a 2nd-init ROM (CM7, MIUI, Liquid).
