CM7 1.8 problems

I just flashed this ROM, I wiped dav and all data running the mr2.5 radio. The problem is I have no bars if I have data service and vice versa. I never have both at the same time. Anyone know of a fix for this? Thanks!

Ok I got the data and phone to work but for some reason I can't get Gmail and Google maps to open I. The market....all other apps open fine. Just not those two.
