ClockworkMod ROM Manager please help!

i have a droid2 i am rooted via z4root
i have su incon in my apps screen
When i select reboot into recovery what happens is that i actually end up with the android exclamation screen to which the only way out is to power + volume up then i am in recovery not like you are and i have same problem with manual i am not sure what to do as i have flashed the current image clockwork mod. anyone with any knowledge of what to do?

Easiest thing to do is download ROM manager from the market and flash clockwork that way. Then download koush's droid 2 bootstrap app from the market. Once in the app bootstrap recovery then Boot into recovery and you should be in clockwork recovery.
