D2g here running cm7. My question is, how can I change the color of the clock? Also would like to change the color of the battery percentage thar is next to it.

You can if you know how to modify the framework-res.apk to accomodate the new colors/icons, I think. Though it might bootloop if you mess something up.

You could apply the themes using theme changer. Just download one you like from the market and that may solve your problem

what build are you on?
Battery can be done, and clock I can look in to it.

Install the apk, and the XML, well not sure if it is actually needed or not. I have it on my SD card anyways. But the CM7 rom has a theme changer built in. Just navigate the app and you can find a theme you like. I like Apex at the moment, which you can see in my sig.
