Clicking on a phone number in browser takes me to text message

I have a Droid Charge. Problem: When I click on any phone number in a browser search listing, it automatically takes me to text messaging, instead of calling the number. It somehow got set this way, perhaps it asked me at some point if I wanted to always do this action when clicking on a phone number. But I cannot find any way to reset it to dial the number, not send a text to it. Thanks for any suggestions.

I tried clearing all data and caches in both phone and browser settings, no luck.
