We have a Chromecast daily double for you guys this morning. First up, it looks like the super-dongle of TV multimedia entertainment will be making its way to the UK as early as March 1st. According to reports from more than one source (including the UK retailer Currys), March 1st is currently the target date for the launch of the Chromecast in the UK. There's no word on the pricing yet, but we can probably expect it to be less than the £35 it is currently being imported for.
The second bit of news is that the Chromecast is about to get even better. Apparently, ever since Google released the Google Cast SDK, developers have been busy beavers hacking away at bringing their products to the device. Both Rdio and Beats Music are working on bringing their services to the Chromecast. There's no word on when that might finally occur, but we will let you know as more details develop.
It's amazing how a tiny little $35 device has become one of Google's best products. Sound off if you are excited by any of this news.
