Charging through the computer.

Is this as good as charging it on the wall charger?
For years I have charged my Palm through my computer, I was wondering if it was any different.

Every computer is different and the status of that computer matters (a turned-off laptop can actually drain your phone), but the wall charger, assuming it is the correct wall charger, will always provide a better charge.
