How exactly is this done? For instance i get a .pdf emailed to me and I choose to look at it, it automatically opens with quick office without asking me anything. I can't even find the quick office app on my phone to uninstall.

Go to menu > settings > applications > manage applications ... then click on quick office and there should be a setting for "launch by default" and you should be able to click on that and have it clear the default app, which will allow you to set another default.

Quick office isn't on the list...

Sorry forgot to tell you that you have to put the filter on all. Just click the menu button and go to filter.

That worked thanks. I figured out a different way to get it on there before your post though. I used a file manager and found the quickoffice .apk in the system files and ran it to reinstall then it showed up under downloaded apps lol.
