Car Home App

Ever since the 2.2 system update the Car Hom app turns itself on at will. It seems to do it when the phone is in the phone case on my belt. The case has a magnetic closure on it. Is there a way to either get this app to quit turning itself on or just delete the app? I tired deleting it and it won't go away. I assume it is because it was loaded with it when I got it. Any help willbe greatly appreciated. This thing is driving me nuts!!!!

The magnet is doing it, putting a magnet on the back of a droid will auto launch car home. I think there is an app on the market that blocks this functionality (sorry don't know the name), but to delete it you need to be rooted.

Try turning the 180 degrees around in the case.

I found out that if I put the phone in the case the other way, it tends not to start that navigator. Thanks for the help.
