Can't stop TTY Help!

I have a Droid X. A TTY symbol has appeared at the top of the screen, to the left of the WiFi and 3G symbols. I'd like to stop this unnecessary process. Don't know how it appeared. Can't find any info in Droid X manual.

Anyone have a fix?

Settings-> Call Settings-> TTY Mode ->turn off
