Can't send-queue emails while offline

Hi,

I ride the train a lot in nyc and do a lot of emailing while on the train. I can't send emails while offline, I don't expect them to be sent but they should be queued and sent when connection is re-established. At least that's how it worked with bb and iphone. I even tried saving them as drafts and moving to outbox folder but was not allowed to do this.

Anyone have any idea how I can get emails queued to be sent while offline?

Thanks,
Marlon

what happens to them?

also, which email program are you using.

I just tried with the HTC Mail app and it functioned as I would have expected. I saved it as a draft and then turned my connection back on, went to draft folder and sent it.

It would be easier if it queued them in the outbox, but it doesn't seem to allow for that.

Using HTC mail app with ms exchange 2010. I am able to save in drafts then send them once online again but this is an extra 3 steps at least per email. Ideally (and what I'm used to) it would queue them in outbox then autosend once online.

Thanks,
Marlon

It doesn't look like the HTC mail app allows for "select all" within the drafts folder either (thats pretty lame).

Sorry, I can't be of any help (I only use the HTC app sparingly at most). Not sure what other options there are for Exchange 2010 mail.

I use K-9, but I believe there are issues between it and exchange 07 (which wouldn't bide well for 10)

Maybe look into MailDroid?
