Can't play movies-rooted droid

Right now I have the UD 4.0 rom, indigo blue theme. My phone played movies until I rooted what went wrong? Around UD 2.5 I think I could see the movies in the galley but was unable to play them. Now they don't even show up. I can find them in astro but it says unable to play????? About to install UD 5.0.1

Have you tried using another media player, like Rock Player

Thanks Mbk it works!!! And yes I have tried other players guess I was picking the wrong ones...
