Hi Folks. Had my Droid x for about 3 weeks, my first smart phone.

I recently had to do a factory reset, since gmail wouldn't automatically refresh. It now refreshes on it's own, but now the gmail icon is no longer on the home desktop page, it's on another page. I would like to move it to the home page.

I tried, tapping and holding and dragging the gmail icon to the edge of the screen. No help.

I would try deleting it, then creating a new one, but I don't see gmail in the apps section (I wonder why that is?).

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

That is odd that it is not in your app drawer. It really should be there. Because that is how you usually move apps from one screen to another. Delete it from one screen and then open the app drawer and drag it to the desired homescreen. You might be able to do it differently using ADW.launcher home replacement.

good luck
