Cant Move apps to left

hello,

I can't seem to move any of my apps to the left of the page that they are on. can anyone tell me why that is? no problem moving them to the right.

You have to drag the icon to the edge of the screen and hold it there, and if it still isn't moving, slowly slide the icon further and further until it goes. It should. Sometimes I have problems dragging them to the right, it's just too precise.

I knew that already. I was wondering if there was a way to get it to register that I am trying to move over the apps like when I move them to the right. On the right its almost instantaneous. The left side is very arduous.
