OK, so I am sick of my phone telling me there is a map update. Every time I try to update Google Maps in the market, the installation fails, and I can't figure out how to fix it.
I'm running a rooted Droid 1 on FRG22D (1.1 ghz kernel). I removed the app using Titanium backup and it still won't install. There's obviously a piece of it hanging around on the phone somewhere, but I can't find it. Maybe there is a terminal command to kill it?
Anyone have any ideas?
Quick Edit: I have tried wiping and re-installing the same rooted 2.2 ROM I was using before to no effect. It's just rooted vanilla Froyo (the way I like it).
