Cant Install Google Maps

I just rooted my droid and now I cant install Google Maps, and it is not on phone. Now what???

Let folks know which instructions you used. Some older 2.2 roms had map issues.

Does it show up in the market? If so and the install fails navigate to /data/data and delete its install folder then go back to the market and try to install it again.
