i saw the notification for an update and immediately did it hoping it was the upgrade for android 2.1 but i guess multi touch for nonrooted is a good one since it works great

I can see and like the pinch and zoom aspect of multi-touch and it is kinda nice to have on the maps program. But can someone tell me why is multi-touch in general such a big deal?

Yea, I considered this event newsworthy. Aparently the Admins here don't care about anything other than hacking to get what they want.
