can't find pics/video files on astro

I can not find pic or video files on astro. I was told I could zip a video file so it fits in message. I looked all over astro and found fx camera pics but not my videos or pics from camera/camcorder.

/DCIM/Camera or to be even more correct, /sdcard/DCIM/camera is where the stock camera and video recorder put them.
