Can't download apps.

I use a moto Droid. If I try to download an app that requires a Gmail update, the download will not complete. I click buy, and then as soon as I complete my gmail sync and hit finish, it boots me back to the Buy screen... no errors or warnings. I tried downloading Open Home, AHome, and another podcast app. And they were all unsuccessful... Can anyone give me a tip?

A gmail update as in the app update itself? or what.. And have you tried any free apps to download for a test. I would recommend a battery pull, but the market has been acting peculiar recently...

Actually, not a gmail update, but the new app prompts me to sync my gmail. I have downloaded many apps, but occasionally they'll request a gmail sync. That's when it fails

Found the issue...

Paid apps won't download if using wi-fi. Turn off wifi and it should send straight to the checkout screen
