Can’t call contacts using Voice Command on HTC DNA

On my old HTC Thunderbolt I could touch the microphone icon and use the voice command to call anyone in my contact list. It does not work on my new HTC DNA. This feature kept me from having wrecks while driving because all I had to do was punch one icon then speak “call so and so cell” and the call would be made.

How do I turn it on or get it to work?

If I long press on the Home button, it brings up Google Plus.

Now, say "Google", the mic appears, and if I say "Call so and so", it displays their name, with a progress bar. I can either simply wait until the time elapses (matter of seconds), and the call will be placed, or I can tap on the small x in the corner to cancel dialing.

Is this function not working on your phone?
