Can you change the Unlock screen

The title pretty much sums it up. Is there a way to change your unlock screen? (Non pattern/password)

as i thank you for that, maybe I should be more specific. To unlock my phone, I have to slide up. Is there a way to change that to side to side, or the little puzzle thing...etc

If you are rooted you can down load the slide to the right unlock patch from XDA-developers.com. Just go to the Revolution development forum for all the info.
