Can the PHONE be turned off?

My Palm Treo's allowed the phone part of the device to be turned off allowing use of all other functions.

I want to play cached radio stream over sound system and not be interrupted by phone calls, etc.

If the cached radio stream works when all wireless networks are disabled, then Yes. Just enable Airplane Mode to turn off all wireless connections, all other functionality remains.

Yea just hold down the power button and select airplane mode and your good.
