Can I look at my texts online but screen is broken

I tried to register online but they sent a text to my phone. my screen is broken and i have the first generation of the droid. can i use the cord to connect to my computer and check them somehow. its killing me

Yes, can you install an app on your phone though? I recommend maybe using sdk to computer then install texts to gmail app. Then all your texts will go into a folder in gmail so you can read them.
Sdk tools will be slow as heck but youll be able to use your pc as the screen. i cant remember the sdk tool to do this though, spend some time googling and hopefully youll find it.
