Can anyone help me with a volume problem?

I just received the new Droid Thunderbolt, love it so far but it is taking me awhile to get used to it (I have had the Blackberry for years).

I would like to adjust my volume settings and just can't get it right. I think I am making the changes inthe wrong place.

I would like my telelphone calls and text messages at a lounder setting and all other notifications (emails, reminders, etc.) at a very low setting.

When I finally get the text message sound at the right volume, the email sounds are very very lound. When I get the email sounds where I want them, the text message sounds are too low. Can someone help??

I know this is very basic, but I am not good with this stuff!! Help!!

If you don't have one, get a sound mixer or profiles app.

Try mini info app from the market, then click the speaker icon and it has a list of all the sound notifications and you can set up each one individually.
