Camera Takes Corrupt Picture

Tried searching for this issue, didn't immediately find anything.

My camera will sometimes take a picture, and the only thing the gallery will show is the generic picture icon. If I try to go back to the camera, the screen will just flicker and then go back to the home screen. If I delete the broken picture from the gallery the camera will load, but all it will do is take more broken pictures. This happens with both the stock and vignette camera apps.

When I reboot the phone, the camera will work for a while, but eventually goes back to the same behavior.

Seems like a hardware issues sense both apps are doing it.

Could be some corruption on the sd card, but something is keeping the camera from writing to the card. I only had this happen once recently, after a year of trouble free use. I just pulled the battery, and reseated the sd card, and it hasn't occurred again.

If re-seating doesn't help. copy everything off the card, and format it using the phone's format utility (not your computer).
