Camera Shutter Noises

Does anyone else's Droid camera make noises like the shutter is going nuts?

mine does, when i use the camera or barcode scanner it clicks all the time while its trying to focus

Is there a way to turn the shutter noise off? Without downloading an app or rooting. It's kind of annoying

Its the aperture moving. Normal.

From the point of a pseudo photographer it sounds completely normal. better than normal actually. To me that noise means its a physical aperture moving not just digital manipulation of the image. Thus much better image quality.
