Quirky Camera Sound??

Hey all,

Whenever I open up my camera option the screen shutters and makes some odd ticking noise as it loads up the camera screen interface. Is this normal?

Yes it's normal. I get three clicks when I open my camera. Has done it since I got it.

It's not a fixed lens...It actually moves to focus...

It's fine, that's how it should sound. Most compact cameras make a lot more sound, so it's not bad at all if you think about it.
