Camera Issues

My camera isn't taking clear shots after auto focusing on an image. I'll switch to video and it'll stay focused in and record great. The camera however will auto focus but shows a smear of the image even after auto focus before snapping and after snapping picture. The camera is stable when taking images. Anyone else ever experienced this?

Ok so I took matters into my own hands and downloaded Photoshop Express from the Android Market. It allows you to adjust contrast, brightness, and a bunch of other settings. I have been able to substantially improve my pictures by modifying them using this program. This means it's a software issue. They need to fix it.

Says who? As far as I know they don't think there is even a problem.

same as the OG Droid updates.. fixed shutter speed and save speed. same as the DX updates fixed issues with the camera. it's the Motorola M.O.

Just downloaded Snaptastic Light - it fixed the pictures fairly impressively. Also force closes alot but they have the idea right. They let you choose a way to modify the picture and then switch between the original and changed one. I use the bright setting and the pictures look way better.
