Camera artifact?

I have been searching all over about this issue. I appear to have some kind of foreign matter in my camera. It didn't show up for the first few weeks or so I had the phone, then all of the sudden it was there. At first I thought it was either dirty or scratched, but after examing the lens area, decided it was inside the camera housing. I took it in to Verizon, and they looked it over and agreed there is definitely something INSIDE the camera. So, they ordered me a certified. Seriously, the NEXT day, it disappeared. I'm not having any issues with my phone aside from that, so I was going to send back the replacement device. Then it showed back up, but different, like the whatever it is started degrading or something. The replacement phone came, it was broken, they are sending another. Now it's gone again. I really don't want a replacement phone, which is just someone else’s returned headache, but I take a lot of pictures, and this is a big issue for me. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

In the photos, the first one is the first time I noticed it. The second one is really a crappy picture, my son was sleeping and the lighting was bad, but there it is back again, yet different.

I received my 2nd replacement phone, this one has a LOT of light leakage from the bottom, and a few bright white pixels on the screen. The 'thing' is also once again gone from the camera. If I send back the replacement device, and the camera messes up again, will they deny me a warranty device since I sent one back? I know that many people are fine with the light leaks and pixels here and there, but seriously for $250 AND 2 more years service, I'm not.
