How can I delete this widget and then download it again

If it is the stock calendar then it can't be deleted and redownloaded. If you are rooted you may be able to do it. If it is a widget you downloaded from the app store you can delete it by going to Settings -> Applications Manager and then selecting and uninstalling the widget.
