Calendar Sync

Is there a way, or an app., that will sync the calendar app. that came with the stock Motorola Droid with the Google calendar?

It should by default. In the calendar app go to menu > calendars and make sure your account's calendar is set to sync and visible.

I did as you suggested and they still don't sync

Any other ideas

I just got my Droid 2 two days ago and the Gmail wasn't alerting me at all, nor was there an option to sync my calendar. I tried a few different suggestions I read on here with no success so then I called VZW and unfortunately the only solution was to master reset the phone. We did that and it works perfectly now. When they prompt me to enter my Gmail account at the beginning of set up it synced how it should have the 1st time. My suggestion is, if you don't have much to lose on the phone apps/set up, etc., do the reset.
