calendar locks up on droid

i use the google calendar on my desktop and on my droid. When I make changes to the calendar the phone almost always locks up.

Can you elaborate on this a bit, does the calendar app force close, is it when you try to imput information into the calendar in the phone application or when you try to sync the desktop/phone calendars

google calendar cause force close on droid

Thanks for replying.
After I make 1 or 2 changes or new entries to the calendar it causes a force close.
I don't attempt to sync as google calendar on the Droid seems to sync automatically with google calendar on my desktop.

Has it always done this or is it a new thing, also did you just receive this phone and if so did you get it new?

I bought the phone new from Verizon.
I've had the problem for as long as I've used Google Calendar.

Have you brought it in for the VZW tech staff to look at, they might replace your device

I am sure it could be fixed outside of VZW (you probably have a bad.apk) but if you are not into Rooting your best bet would be to let them take care of it

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll take your advice and get to our Verizon store in the near future.
Do you know if they have to replace the phone will they be able to save my programs, bookmarks, etc.
I use Lookout so hopefully between Lookout and VZ, I won't have to start from scratch.

Hopefully they can just fix the problem, but if not you would probably lose your bookmarks, you might search the Market and see if their is an app that will save all of your bookmarks
