BT Yahoo Mail does not work on S4 in the UK !

I cannot access my bt yahoo mail due to a sync error that apparently is a known issue with this phone ! I have spoken to EE Samsung and BT and nobody can provide a solution ! I have set up the email accounts automatically and also done it by manually entering the server and port details but it still will not sync and I cannot receive mail. It has been suggested that I use a third party app such as yahoo mail app but I want to use the inbuilt app which SHOULD WORK. Help !!!!

The stock mail app isn't the best app around by any stretch. You may want to try out MailDroid or K-9 mail to see if they work. Both are quite good.

I can get the yahoo mail app to work with one mail account but it is no good as I need to see all inbox mail count on five accounts on the same screen ideally an icon for each account on the home screen with an indicator when mail is received - this is what I had on blackberry

K9 Mail Pro - downloaded this and it pulls in the old messages but cannot receive new emails !
