Not really to question 1. Turn it upside down. Wait a count of 2. Turn it back over. Active notifications will show.

The led only lights when the phone is at a charge level that is too low to power the phone when you plug it in. As soon as the charge level reaches a point when the phone will operate, the led turns off.

Thanks... sounds easier to turn on screen than juggle the phone just to see notifications! LOL

They've basically made led virtually useless too.

I appreciate your explanation but hate the ui. I wish I could just leave notifications on screen all the time until batter level drops to 30% or something. They have these huge posters in vzw showing notifications on screen but don't mention they're hardly ever visible.

If it has been sitting a while you can also just move the phone or pick it up slightly. If you're going to flip it over then wait, might as well hit the power button.

Does it periodically turn on and off on its own? I think it was called "breathing" in the moto x. If so does anyone know the frequency?
