Boot without volume button

Does anyone know if there is anyway to boot my phone without using the volume button? I want to root my phone, but due to some drops my volume buttons no longer work. My warranty won't cover it, and I'm reluctant to buy a new one.

You need to get into Hboot?

Hold the optical track pad button + power.

Thanx, that works, but i need the volume button to scroll down to the bootloader! Looks like im gonna have to spring for the insurance deductible n e way!
