any suggestions what I do now? I sbf'd back to .340. rooted. installed Liberty..then nightlies, downloaded GB 0.8..now Im boot looping. argh

to install liberty, you need to sbf again back to .340. then you need to do the two part TBH .596 (rooted gingerbread) install, then you will have to install liberty. Besure to wipe dalvik cache and factory data wipe before you update gingerbread to liberty.

the part you missed was installing gingerbread inbetween.

guess I missed that step. back to .340...then root, then TBH .596 ?

correct.
do this and you should be good to go
1. sbf .340
2. gain root
3. install d2 bootstrapper
4. reboot into recovery
5. factory reset/data wipe
6. wipe dalvik cache
7. install zip from sd card -> part 1 of tbh .596 ( be sure not to boot your phone inbetween part 1 adn part 2)
8. install zip from sd card -> part 2 of tbh .596
9. reinstall bootstrapper
10. boot into recovery
11. repeat steps 5 and 6
12. install zip from sd card -> liberty
13. become Liberated!!

I am about to leave work, if you need the files for tbh you shouuld be able to find them in the forums here. If you need anymore help jsut post in this forum and I am sure someone will be able to step up and help ya out. Good luck.

Very nice. If you are liking v0.8 you should think about the asop/liberty hybrid. I am digging it. I have 10% percent battery left and my phone has been on for almost 17 hours. That is still with leaving wifi turned on and having about 2 1/2 to 3 hours worth of display time.

Just battery stats.

Ill tell u what I do, but feel free to do a search here and find a proper write up. I am still learning, myself.

U charge your phone to 100% when the phone is on.
Unplug and turn off.

Charge again while off.
Make sure it says 100%, then power on.
Keep plugged in.

Reboot in recovery and wipe batt stats.
Unplug charger and reboot.

First use let the phone die completely, then recharge to 100%.

That should give you new stats.
You're now free to use and charge however u want.

That is what I do anyway, and it seems to work nice.

This is what someone else told me. That was what I did and then got 18 hours of battery life when I was going from 100% to 40% in 4 hours with only 45 minutes of display use.

For the asop/liberty rom go to this link here -----> http://www.droidforums.net/forum/liberty-rom-dx/155538-rom-mod-aosp-liberty-gb.html

You can do it in clockwork (advanced/wipe batt stats) or dl the app battery calibration
