I was wondering if theres a way to change the "droid" sound when the device boots up. Sorry if this has been said or if this is in the wrong section! By the way I'm stock rooted

Navigate To /system/media Make A Copy Of The Bootanimation. USB It To Your Computer And Extract The .Zip Open The "desc.txt" Find The Line "s Droid.ogg". Delete That Line. Now With Your Program That Allows You To Create Zip Files, You Need To Zip Back Up Those Files Using Compression Method Store. Then From There Move It Back To Your Phone Overwritting The Old Bootanimation.zip.

I Threw Together Real Quick A Detailed Video Of The Process Once It's On Your Computer To Get It Back To Your Phone.

I'm Almost 100% It's The Same, You Just Have To Delete The Line "s (soundname).ogg"
