AlarmDroid - MIUI.apk
I know a number of us were looking for something like this. I found this on a MIUI post, but I expect there's no reason why it wouldn't work on CM7 as well.
It has a very nice set of features, including wake to music/internet stream, etc., and of course, increasing alarm volume, and you can customize how many seconds/minutes over which the alarm volume increases.
