Bluetooth voice activation...

Hello,
I am currently using the band-aid way of hands-free communication via the Droid. I use HF voice dialer and my jawbone.

Though I have read many different forums concerning Droid's version of Android 2.xx's inability to initialize voice dialing via bluetooth, I wonder Can an app be made to do this? Or are we waiting and hoping for Google/Verizon/Motorola to do something?

Voice Recognition was introduced in the Android 1.5 SDK... so (at least in theory) a third party could do this. The question becomes WILL somebody do it?
