+1 on the Scala Rider. Only unit I've owned, but it works so good, I never looked elsewhere.
SCALA USERS... I can only RECEIVE and cannot dial out using BLUETOOTH with my Droid. Are you in the same boat?? I understand it is a BT/Droid issue...True??
Is there anyway to manually force media to the Scala? I LOOOOVE my Q2, but if I can't get it to stream Pandora, then I'm going to sell it. I hate using headphones as the bike is my main form of transportation all year around (even when its in the negatives.) So this is a lot of riding (and unplugging/plugging in headphones!!)
I was never able to stream music to the SCALA via BT. I don't think it can be done. Even if it could, and if the FM music is any indication of what it would sound like, we're not missing much. Phone and intercom quality is superb, music not so much...
I agree, the FM sound quality is.... sub par to say the least. but you wouldn't happen to know if any of the later model Scala headsets will support media streaming, would you?
I'm not sure when the Scala G4 came out, but it claims support for "A2DP enabled MP3 Player or Adapter". Anyone know if this is true? Anyone try it out and how's the sound quality (recent posts seem to suggest that it's not too good).
It works but seems at the expense of everything else Play music, lock up the intercom Loss the BT connection as well If you tunr off the music fisrt then initaite an intercom call then shut off the intercom, then tuirn on the music...EWAYYYY too much trouble
Droid X and Scala G4..not perfect togther $315 including shipping down the tubes
