Bluetooth A2DP + Sony MEX-BT2700 issues

I use my D2 with my MEX-BT2700 in my car to stream music.

Problem is that 75% of the time it only auto-connects with the phone audio and not the media audio "A2DP" profile. To get it to connect I have to disconnect and reconnect to the head unit manually through the bluetooth settings.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi + happy new year! I'm having the same issues, but with two differences: 1.) My phone is a Motorola Milestone 2 (A953), the european version of the Droid2. 2.) My car head unit is a Sony MEX-BT3700U Everything else the same as docfong mentioned. When I'm enerting the car with bluetooth on and paired with the head uniton my MS2, switching on the head unit, BT connects (on the display of the head unit), but A2DP disconnects right after that again (icon stays there for a split second, and disappears). Phone profile remains connected. Is there an app to solve that issue? Something like an "A2DP Reconnector"? Regards -Zoli
