I seemed redundant to have both apps anyway. When you opened "Navigation" you had to select "Maps" and then set it up. Now you open Maps and select Navigation. No biggie.

Changes are NOT always good. The blue arrow access and ease of use of the old app before the update is much better. And..wouldn't it have been nice to know that the blue arrow would disappear before we accepted the update? I am very unhappy with the new location in Google maps. Is there any way to "un-update"? Thanks for listening!
