Blue Arrow Navigation app

Google combined maps and navigation into just maps now. It's a single app.

I seemed redundant to have both apps anyway. When you opened "Navigation" you had to select "Maps" and then set it up. Now you open Maps and select Navigation. No biggie.

Just took the update. Can't seem to find the alternate routes to avoid highways? Does anyone know where it went? lol

Once you have a destination there hsould be "route options" under the main search box and you can find it there.

I'm pretty sure you can put a navigation widget on your desktop...

I want my blue arrow back!

Changes are NOT always good. The blue arrow access and ease of use of the old app before the update is much better. And..wouldn't it have been nice to know that the blue arrow would disappear before we accepted the update? I am very unhappy with the new location in Google maps. Is there any way to "un-update"? Thanks for listening!
