Blockbuster to stream rental videos to HTC D2

Cool, lots of potential there. Now if netflix will join it:icon_ banana: I almost forgot Bluckbuster was still around, lol.

Forgot where I read it but somewhere stated that microsoft was working on silverlight for android, if that works out then netflix will be a click away.

That would be SWEEEET!!!
Not that I'm doubting it but I would be rather surprised to see M$ put Silverlight on Android, lets hope I'm wrong.

Update:
:mad:A quick Google search doesn't seem to find anything since late (Oct) '08 on the topic... But then that's around when Fennac (Firefox mobile) was announced and we see how slow that's been developing.

they have to do something. They are losing money; 10 to 15 years ago they was the place to go, now they are struggling to survive. With the ability to stream on your laptop or rent movies through your cable/ satellite company for less then $5 bucks with out the late fee hassles. I would say i do not see a big market for it but people travel and to be able to watch a movie on a phone instead of having to break out the laptop may not be a bad idea.
