so it is fine to delete or freeze all these? i am a first time rooter and am being very cautious in what i do.. i have got rid of some that i know i can(blockbuster and vcast crap) but alot of others i just wasn't sure.

I did make a backup folder on my SD card for the apps i did delete.

I wouldnt delete any apps. Freeze them using titanium backup. When Verizon updates their OS, if you deleted any apps, you wont be able to update unless you restore the missing apps you deleted. You can get ready for an update by defrosting all frozen apps.

i got the titanium backup but can't figure out how to freeze the apps. i see alot of options but nothing about freezing. can someone help me out

i have the free version.. like i said this is my first time so not real sure what i am doing but i do feel confident that i can figure it out

honestly there is so much memory there is no reason to do anything but simply freeze the apps.

The list looks similar to a few other bloat lists... I'm going to go through it and see what I can find out. Maybe we can get a sticky up with the right list

My list looks about the same as this. I was wondering (Semi new rooter, rooted original droid) I got firefox as my browser. Is freezing the factory browser going to affect anything?

Im pretty sure Firefox piggybacks off the stock browser, that being the case I don't believe it would work to freeze stock the run Firefox.

Sent from my Bionic

Just froze it and everything is working fine... I am struggling with RAM though. I have another thread where i asked about it but I sit at about 400-450MB at most. Is this the same for you?

I stand corrected.... :) not running firefox myself but running dolphin gd the checking my apps running I'm hanging around 256 mb used with about 450ish free. Now just cuz I'm curious how does Firefox run on tour bionic?
