I've been using Swype, and while it works ok for normal text messages, it really sucks for entering URL's, email addresses, passwords etc. What I would love to see is an interface that let's you use either slide or click typing, and has blindtype's level of intelligence for figuring out what you are doing... So in other words, blindtype with an optional swype interface added.
I wonder if Google is still going to still release the iPhone version or will they keep this as a pure Android "feature".
eh, I just typed faster than the guy in the speed demonstration at the end of the video with my SlideIt, i'm not impressed. plus I know where my keyboard letters are and I slide all the time without looking. I'll stick with SlideIt.
I look forward to new developments in my new favorite mobile operating system. It's cool if you want to be all conservative and stick with the last thing that works best for you, but I myself enjoy having a phone I can look forward to improving without buying a new phone before my contract is up.
Try it out before you knock it, it looks like it has potential! Anything does with enough effort and support. I'm using Swype, love it. Very minor issues with it but after all, it's a beta for Droid so at least I can bring it up and try to improve it as a beta tester, and I do!
I'm very much looking forward to getting a hold of something with this on it. Since the new swype was released, I've been growing more and more frustrated with it and I'm looking for something new to try out
I'm really looking forward to this. I'll be upgrading from my Droid 1 soon and this app takes away reservations that I have about not having a physical keyboard.
No don't say that I was really looking forward to this ****.
I finally went back to swype I just wish I could access the dictionary of words I have typed rather than manually editing them as I type them to add/delete words
