blank theme template

I really want to start theming but i dont know where to start. I thought if i had a blank theme template it might be easier. I was wondering if anyone had one. Thanks in advance.

in theory you can just take a theme, dissect its files, and theres your blank slate.

Exactly! Depending on how in depth you want to go, there can be thousands of files to modify. Kinda makes one look at the mind blowing work that these guys do (for free) in a whole new light!
