This has now happened twice. I have approximately 50% battery life this time and the screen will not light up at all. If I pull the battery and reboot, I can see the Droid splash screen and then blank again. After rebooting several times, I plugged it into USB and I'm now able to turn the screen on. As soon as I unplug from USB, the screen goes blank again. I should mention that I'm running the newest version of BB on a rooted 2.1. Is there any chance this could be an issue with the ROM? It sounds like a battery issue, but the battery is not dead. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
